THE GRACE 

Said by Harold Beck (1935-42) at the Dinner on 1st September 2009 in the Fyvie Hall to mark the 70th Anniversary of the evacuation Regent Street Polytechnic School.

Dr. Worsnop, the headmaster when evacuation took place, ended his Foreword to the Quintin School History with a Prayer he often used in Assembly.  Here it is, adapted as a Grace:-

Almighty God, we humbly thank Thee for the blessings Thou hast bestowed upon us.

Grant that in return we may ever remember to have as our object, service to our fellow creatures, but above all the honour and glory of Thy most Holy name.
